Journeyman Electrician/Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift - rotating shift)

$30 - 40/hr for Maintenance Technician + unlimited OT
$40 - $55/hr for Journeyman Electrician + $10K sign on bonus + profit sharing + OT potential
Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a large client in the manufacturing industry looking to hire multiple Journeyman Electricians and Maintenance Technicians! These positions are both 3rd shift and rotating shift, so this candidate has the opportunity to only work 15 days a month. However, the company also offer unlimited overtime for both roles and extra perks for those with Journeyman Electric License.
Responsibilities
· Perform maintenance and repairs on various production machinery, including thermoforming and printing machines.
· Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, utilizing digital multimeters and other diagnostic tools.
· Conduct preventative maintenance (PMs) and assist in line walk inspections.
· Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and hydraulic prints to inform repair processes.
· Operate and maintain precision tools and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
· Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and handoff of tasks during shift changes.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
· Minimum of 3 years in maintenance within a manufacturing environment, including production floor maintenance and equipment troubleshooting.
· Proficient in electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems; experience performing maintenance on motors up to 50 HP.
· Hands-on experience with TIG (preferred) and MIG welding, particularly with stainless steel and aluminum.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics, with strong skills in precision measurement tools (dial indicators, micrometers).
· Basic proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and CMMS, with familiarity in using Maintenance Connect.
· Must provide a complete toolset and toolbox by the end of the first week.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
· Experience with manual mills or lathes and light pipefitting (including pipe threading).
· Familiarity with material handling equipment, thermoforming machines, offset print machines and shrink body label machines.
Journeyman Electrician License - needed for 40-55 range and extra perks
